Working with young people

Working with young people Scottish Badgers school workshop

We work with Scotland's young people to investigate attitudes towards wildlife, to inspire young minds and to create positive, lasting changes in their relationship with their environment. We incorporate poetry, tracking skills and film-making into our youth work in the hope that every child will find something that they can relate to. We tailor projects to fit in with The Curriculum for Excellence or with initiatives such as The John Muir Award.

We offer workshops to schools and youth groups across Scotland. To find out more about our youth work, or to book a workshop for your school or youth group, please contact our Development Officer.

To access our teaching resources including factsheets, worksheets and guidance on facilitating wildlife poetry workshops, please contact the Development Officer .
